Caffiend Caramel Macchiato
Macchiato is an Italian word meaning "marked." Typically, in a Latte Macchiato, the "mark" is espresso in a milk foam. Sometimes, caramel is also added for a little caffeinated treat.
Caffiend: Caramel Macchiato is therefore halfway between our cappuccino stout Caffiend and our famous Latte.
At its base, it's an amber beer made with plenty of caramel malt to give it a sweet side, along with malted oats and lactose to create a creamy texture.
It’s then infused with lots of coffee from Traffic Coffee Co., which gives it a bold character and a dose of caffeine, but it’s well balanced with the caramel.
So, like Caramel Macchiatos, it will appeal to both coffee lovers and fans of slightly sweeter beers.
