The story goes that after tasting all their ciders and while waiting for the apples to finish ripening, the cider makers of the Poméloi Orchard drink the beers from À l'abris de la Tempête, while meditating on their future batches.
This saison-style beer is a tribute to the work in the orchard and serves as an exercise in hybridization between these two liquids that we cherish so much.
Dry, with a slight acidity, La Palabre du Verger contains 200g/L of freshly pressed apple pomace.
This iteration aged for 10 months in red wine barrels, thus intensifying the apple and cereal aromas while allowing delicate tannins to emerge.
